Frequent Shoppers Save Even More at the Bargain Center

 In Bargain Center, Ministry Village

If you shop at the Ministry Village Bargain Center, be sure to get a Bargain Center Frequent Shopper Card! This program, new for 2021, gives extra savings to our faithful Bargain Center shoppers. For every $10 you spend at the store, the Bargain Center will punch your card. When your card is filled (10 punches), you’ll get $15 off your next purchase! (Vendor items are excluded from this program.)

“We have so many customers who come faithfully each week to see what new items we have, so we wanted to do something special to thank them for their support,” said Julie Paden, Manager of the Ministry Village Bargain Center. “The Bargain Center Frequent Shopper Card has been well received, and it’s a great way for us to share savings with our best customers.”

The Bargain Center also sends texts to anyone wishing to be the first to learn about their sales and special events. Become a Bargain Center VIP Treasure Hunter! Text 850-613-0288 to join the new text group and receive special text updates! Messages are limited to special offers, and we will never share your information.

In addition to the Frequent Shopper Card and the VIP Treasure Hunter text group, the Bargain Center offers a 10% military / first responder discount every day.

While the Bargain Center offers discount shopping and thrifty finds to bargain-loving shoppers, its primary mission is to provide funding for the various programs of Ministry Village at Olive –the Tender Hearts Caring Hands food pantry and benevolence program; Most Excellent Way’s addiction support groups; and the Charis House, a faith-based residential recovery program for women suffering from addiction.

Many local charity stores suspended donations during the pandemic; however, the Bargain Center continued to accept donations and has been greatly blessed by the generosity of our community. If you have items you’d like to donate, while also helping the Bargain Center raise funding for the programs of Ministry Village at Olive, we ask that you keep these guidelines in mind.

Items that are accepted include clean, stain-free, odor-free clothing; housewares; books; unbroken furniture; working lamps; knickknacks; working radios; antiques; shoes; working clocks; working small appliances; working big appliances (washer, dryer, fridge, oven); cookware; glassware; kitchen utensils; toys; records; cds; linens; jewelry; bikes in good condition.

Items that are not accepted include carpet; stained items; swing sets; kids pools; doors; cabinets; anything with chemicals; weapons; tires; mattresses and box springs; old box-style TVs; bulky gym equipment; or any item that is in need of repair.
