Christ-Centered, High Quality Care for the Youngest Generation

🍎Introducing the Ministry Village Early Learning Center🍎

Recognizing the need to pour love into the lives of our youngest community members, Ministry Village at Olive (MVO) broke ground on the Ministry Village Early Learning Center (Ministry Village ELC) in January 2018, dedicated to providing Christ-centered, high quality, early learning childcare programs for children from 3 months of age to pre-kindergarten. After more than 3 years researching innovative early learning programs, the MVO Board and leadership are eager to join the ongoing efforts in the Northwest Florida community to engage, invest in, develop and prepare our children, their parents and families for kindergarten readiness– leading our community to a stronger and more capable future workforce. Slated to open in Fall 2018, enrollment begins on Monday, August 20 for all classes at the Ministry Village ELC.

“Ministry Village at Olive is devoted to meeting the needs of our community members and helping them pursue and achieve their most excellent futures,” said Stan Lollar, Executive Director of Ministry Village at Olive, Inc. “Our work with people who are struggling with addiction or financial difficulties continues to be fundamental to our organization. But with the emerging research on early learning in Escambia County, and the struggles that our youngest community members are having in preschool, grade school and beyond, we felt a call to be involved in meeting the educational needs of young children and families. Through the Ministry Village ELC, we have the opportunity to reach local families and help lay a solid early childhood foundation that will better serve our children and our entire community far into the future of Northwest Florida.”

Constructed with a state of the art security system, fire sprinkler system, impact resistant glass, and following all the latest building codes for safety and storm hardening, each of the 11 classrooms within the nearly 9,500 square foot building has been specially designed to accommodate the appropriate number of children at their specific ages and stages of development for optimal learning and care.

The facility offers:

  • 3 rooms for infants and 1 year old toddlers;
  • 3 rooms for 2 year olds;
  • 2 rooms for 3 year olds; and
  • 3 rooms for 4 and 5 year olds.

Each classroom also provides in-room hand-washing stations and/or private bathroom facilities, with child-size sinks and toilets for the children’s ease of use and comfort. The interactive playground will engage, entertain and stimulate students in a safe and protected environment. The Ministry Village ELC will be licensed by both the Florida Department of Children and Family Services and the Association of Christian Schools International.
